Safety Case

UK Safety Case Regulations require a valid Safety Case for fixed and floating installations, dedicated to production, drilling and combined operations, as well as abandonment. The Safety Case shall include reference to PFEER Assessment and the Verification Scheme.

ALARP Demonstration

ALARP demonstration is the most crucial element of the Safety Case. The purpose is to demonstrate that risks are as low as reasonably practicable, following implementation of risk reducing measures unless it can be demonstrated that costs and operational difficulties are in gross disproportion to the benefits.
