Jan Erik Vinnem, Preventor, has the management of the development of the OTS (Operational Condition Safety) verification system, as a parallel to the TTS (Technical Condition Safety) system. A pilot version shall be ready by the end of 2006, with testing in 2007, and full scale implementation from 2008.

The intention with the OTS system is that the full MTO approach shall be covered, whereas TTS mainly covers technical barrier systems. The work is carried out in co-operation with Safetec, SINTEF and Studio Apertura, NTNU
