Professors Vinnem and Kongsvik have 27th April published a chronicle in Stavanger Aftenblad about what may be done to change the safety trend in the Norwegian Petroleum sector. The starting point is as follows:

Companies in the oil and gas sector recently often state that they both improve safety and reduce costs at the same time. But not once there is someone who can give examples of what they have actually done, with such effect.
