Preventor has for a number of years supported the building up a new village, Kaputiei, for poor people from the Mathare slum in Nairobi, Kenya. See the latest report (in Norwegian) here.

This year’s contribution is probably the last from Preventor for this project, as the project is now capable of standing on its own, without further financial support from Strømmestiftelsen. The search for a new project starts in the new year.
