We are discontinuing the monthly newsletter distribution as of May 2018, since it is no longer permitted to keep such lists, unless the members have accepted the conditions.
We will on the other hand keep posting new R&D results and other significant events in the offshore petroleum HES field, so please check our site from time to time for new postings.
One aspect we will continue to follow closely is the whitepaper on petroleum HES published by the Norwegian Ministry for work and social affairs in early April. As already communicated we were quite surprised that the government had very few proposals for further improvement. This leaves the impression of a government which will not burden the industry with additional requirements.
The provisional date for Storting debate of this issue is the 12th June 2018. It will be very interesting to see if other parties in the Storting will propose additional actions for further improvement of petroleum HES.
